Useful tools. Clear information.
How to read the directory, and what our labels mean.
Start with a task
We organize tools around real estate work: preparing listings, communicating with clients, researching property and running a business. A tool can be useful to an agent without being designed exclusively for real estate. Its profile should explain that purpose; a broad software category alone is not enough.
Publication and evidence are different
A published profile makes a product discoverable. It does not mean that we independently tested every feature, endorse the provider or verified all of its marketing claims. Historical listings may have information that needs updating. Material facts should be checked against the named source and the provider’s current terms.
Free plans, trials and unknown pricing
The ongoing-free-plan filter includes tools with a supporting provider source. A trial, limited promotional credit or paid account with a demo is different from an ongoing free plan. Limits such as active projects, exports, watermarks and commercial use can matter more than the entry price.
When current pricing is not supported by a source, the profile says it needs confirmation. An unknown price does not mean free. A date on a source note records that check; it does not guarantee that the provider has kept the same offer.
Market coverage needs its own source
We serve US agents and English-speaking agents elsewhere. An English-language website does not establish worldwide availability. Local listing feeds, property records, forms, signatures and integrations can be restricted to particular markets.
A market filter excludes unknown coverage. A missing country is therefore a reason to confirm with the provider, rather than proof that the product cannot work there.
Collections explain a choice
A workflow collection groups tools around a sequence of tasks. An alternatives collection offers different approaches to a similar job. Neither is a requirement to buy every product in the set. Editorial collections should make the role of each tool clear and use actual published profiles.
Personal collections belong to their creators. Public collections can be discovered; an unlisted collection can be opened by anyone with its link. Private collections require the appropriate account access. A shared toolbox link contains tool identifiers, while browser notes remain private to that browser.
Ownership is not a rating
A free ownership claim asks the directory to review evidence that the requester represents the tool. It does not purchase an endorsement, guarantee the product’s quality or establish that every feature has been independently tested. Proposed changes and new submissions remain subject to moderation.
Images have limits
A website capture shows the site at the time of capture. It may differ from the current product or interface. If a product image is unavailable, we use a clearly labeled branded preview rather than presenting a placeholder as a provider screenshot.
Commercial independence
Basic profiles, submissions, claims and factual corrections are free. Our current focus is useful coverage, accurate information and participation. Future optional category sponsorships or expanded profiles would be labeled and kept separate from organic relevance and evidence. Payment does not establish ownership or buy a trust label.
Help improve a profile
Use “Suggest a correction” on the relevant profile and include a current source. Owners can use the free claim action. We review requests before changing published information; a submitted correction is not automatically treated as a verified fact.
